Warm & Cool Color Drawings
Color is often viewed in temperatures such as warm and cool. Warm colors, RED, YELLOW and ORANGE give the feeling of warmth as they often remind us of the sun or fire. Cool colors, BLUE, GREEN, and VIOLET give a cool and calming feeling as they often remind us of water and grass.
-
Make two similar drawings and use warm colors in one drawing and use cool colors in the second.
-
Take note of how or if the change in colors changes the way you feel when looking at your picture.
