Skill Building choice lessons are designed to help students review concepts and to continue to develop their craft as an artist. Choose one, choose them all! Have fun and be creative!
Complimentary colors are the colors that are directly across from each other on the color wheel.
Example: Red and Green, Blue and Orange and Yellow and Purple.
Choose one of the sets of complementary colors to create a drawing or painting of your choice. Remember to only use those two colors.

Neutral Colors
The Neutral colors are black, white and gray. Use only neutral colors to create a drawing or painting of your choice.
Monochromatic Color Scheme
Monochromatic color schemes mean that it is a variation of one color. Any color can be used to create a monochromatic color scheme. All you need is tints and shades. Remember, when you tint you add white to a color and when you shade you add black.
Example: Red, Pink (tint), Maroon (shade).
