Master Study:
One way in which artists learn to develop techniques and strengthen observational skills is to conduct a master study.
Note: As you observe Van Gogh's work, THINK...what do I like about it? What do I dislike about it? WHY?? How can I use this information to develop my own style of art?
For this project, choose one of your favorite Van Gogh paintings and try to recreate it.
Use whatever materials you have available. It can be a simple pencil drawing, add color with crayons, markers or paint, you can even make a collage using torn or cut pages from a magazine!
